There once was a time that life seemed simple and innocent. Red Wood Rising is trying to bring the listener back to that time. "We do not try to please anyone or be popular, we just make music the way we feel it should be made." The songs written are a mixture of the sadness of reality, fighting to discover the light, and the joy of still being able to find the light in the darkness. Red Wood Rising is passionate about "playing meaningful, emotional music that affects people in a full spectrum of ways."
